Job Description

As a Product Designer, you will work within a Product Delivery Team fused with UX, engineering, product and data talent. You will help the team design beautiful interfaces that solve business challenges for our clients. We work with a number of Tier 1 banks on building web-based applications for AML, KYC and Sanctions List management workflows. This role is ideal if you are looking to segue your career into the FinTech or Big Data arenas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be involved in every step of the product design cycle from discovery to developer handoff and user acceptance testing.
  • Work with BAs, product managers and tech teams to lead the Product Design
  • Maintain quality of the design process and ensure that when designs are translated into code they accurately reflect the design specifications.
  • Accurately estimate design tickets during planning sessions.
  • Contribute to sketching sessions involving non-designersCreate, iterate and maintain UI deliverables including sketch files, style guides, high fidelity prototypes, micro interaction specifications and pattern libraries.
  • Ensure design choices are data led by identifying assumptions to test each sprint, and work with the analysts in your team to plan moderated usability test sessions.
  • Design pixel perfect responsive UI’s and understand that adopting common interface patterns is better for UX than reinventing the wheel
  • Present your work to the wider business at Show & Tell sessions.

    Based in Adelaide you will be appointed as a Security Officer (Westfield) and will be tasked with securing the premises and ensuring public safety and the safety of all staff, contractors and visitors on site.     An opportunity exists for Security Officers to join the Certis team and provide security services at a number of locations in the Adelaide area. Our client works with the world’s leading retail and luxury brands to create a unique shopping and leisure experience and ensures that its centres constantly meet the highest expectations of today’s retailers and consumers.

    General Security Officer Duties including;

    • Provide a high quality visual security presence at client locations
    • Conduct foot patrols
    • Escort contractors
    • Respond to security emergencies
    • Maintains electronic logs and records of occurrences
    • Complete necessary paperwork
    • Use appropriate methods of communication (eg radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issues
    • Conduct incident investigations in a timely manner and ensure that Security Incident Reports are completed and submitted
    • Provide a customer service approach and maintain a fair, courteous and respectful manner in dealing with clients and customers
    • Take a problem solving approach to conflict situations and recognise the need to escalate situations to the manager/supervisor for attention as appropriate
    • Promote and encourage a team approach
    • Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the implementation of emergency procedures
    • Issue and receive keys in accordance with procedures.
    • Use computer systems including Email, Word and Excel as required

    About you

    • Full vaccination is mandatory for all applicants
    • Current SA Security License
    • First Aid Certificate
    • Driving Licence [Guards may be required to drive the buddy, which will require to have a driving licence]
    • Experience in retail environments highly advantageous
    • Intermediate Computer Skills
    • Ability to use electronic hand held devices, radios and online applications
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to follow instructions and multi task
    • Customer Service and First Aid experience preferred
    • 24×7 Availability (day / night shifts, week days, weekends, PH)
    • Uniform provided
    • Starting casuals, with opportunities to be progressed PPT
